ROTATION OF MEMBERS
- Members will be appointed for 4-year terms and committee size will be 9-10 members, including Chair and Past Chair. To preserve the continuity of the committee, rotations will eventually be staggered so that no more than 3 members rotate off each year.
- The Chair will identify committee members that represent the diversity of the RSA membership, with regard to research area, career level, underrepresented minority status, ethnicity and gender.
- The Chair position will rotate every 3 years, without an option for re-appointment. However, the Chair will serve one additional year on the committee, as the past-Chair, to facilitate the transition in leadership. The new Chair will be selected from within the current membership. Upon selection, the credentials of the incoming Chair and committee members will be communicated to the RSA President.
- Sub-Committees, made up of committee members and non-committee members*, may be formed for FRIC formed initiatives. *Not official committee members
- Graduate Student Small Grants Program sub-committee will be chaired by the FRIC Chair and the current RSA VP and include #7 members.
